Women's Vintage Lee High Waisted Jeans

The 1980's were the reigning decade for high waisted jeans and the new washes and styles available meant people were wearing them more than ever. The jeans were very tight fitting and reminiscent of the styles in the 1950's, earning the “mom jeans” moniker in the 2000’s.

This style looks great with a vintage blouse for casual chic and a classic leather belt will draw in the waist even more to give you that great silhouette. For a more laid back 1980's look, a simple t-shirt (our organic Supima cotton “Unpublished T” is perfect) tucked into your jeans and worn with pumps looks great.

High-rise jeans have a waistband that cinches the smallest part of your natural waist, just above your belly button. The higher rise of this jean type produces an hourglass silhouette, emphasizing a nipped-in waist.

High-rise jeans offer high coverage for your midsection as compared to low and mid-rise jeans. High-waisted jeans are available in flared, boot cut, wide leg, and skinny leg styles.
